It’s that time of year when the sporting public, and definitely the racing public, get excited and turn their attention to the famous Cheltenham Festival.
Over 65,000 racing fans will pack Prestbury Park for the Festival, many of those will be from Ireland, there to bet on their horses and hopefully cheer them on to victories over the UK counterparts.
There are several big favorites lining up this year, notably Master Minded who is a very short 1-3 to win the Queen Mother Champion Chase, which would make it two years in a row for this title.
You’ll want to keep an eye on Binocular as well. This horse has become very popular amongst punters as the season has progressed. He is a 5-4 favourite for the Champion Hurdle and money keeps pouring in on him at the bookmakers
Other big favorites include the Nicky Henderson trained Punches towns (4-1 odds), Kasbah Bliss, who is trained in France, is another impressive horse catching attention from punters.
The betting has been steady and will continue to build up to the first race at Cheltenham.
